Kevin Reimer has attained an unassailable lead in the Downhill Skateboard category by winning three World Cup Races and placing second in two. He placed first at Almabtrieb, Graveyard Call and Malarrara Pro Teutonia and second at Maryhill Festival of Speed and Kozakov Challenge.

With only two more races to go on the World Cup Calendar, Patrick Switzer or Christoph Batt are the only two riders who could tie with Reimer in terms of points if they won both of the remaining races. If this were to happen, the tie breaker would be each riders fifth result and since neither Switzer or Batt has two second place finishes, neither can match Reimers record for the year.
