With exactly one month to go until the first practice runs take place on the majestic Fort Schanskop road, First Nature is excited to announce that the entries for the KING OF THE FORT Schanskop Downhill Challenge 2011 are open.
Please print the entry form, fill it in and e-mail it to kingofthefort@firstnature.be along with a valid copy of your ID document and both sides of your medical aid card.

Official Race Caps sponsored by Flexfit Headwear will be given to the first 20 entrants.
The following categories are available:
- Downhill Skateboard Open
- Downhill Skateboard Junior
- Downhill Skateboard Women
- Street Luge
- Classic Luge (Buttboard)
The entry fees are as follows:
1st Category – R300
2nd Category – R80
3rd Category – R40
Non-Racing – R100 (all weekend)
JUNIORS MAY ENTER THE JUNIOR OR OPEN CATEGORY AS THEIR FIRST CATEGORY. IF JUNIORS WISH TO ENTER BOTH, THEY MUST PAY THE FEE FOR FIRST AND SECOND CATEGORY WHEN SUBMITTING THEIR ENTRY PAYMENT. THE SAME APPLIES TO ANYONE ELSE WISHING TO ENTER MORE THAN ONE CATEGORY.
ALL ENTRY FORMS, PAYMENTS, COPIES OF MEDICAL AID CARDS AND ID DOCUMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED BEFORE MIDNIGHT ON SUNDAY 12TH JUNE 2011. ALL ENTRIES AFTER THIS DATE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A PENALTY FEE OF R150.
Official Accommodation for the race will be at the Fountains Valley camping site, which is 1km down the road from the race venue. The cost is R115 per campsite per night (4 people per campsite). No pre booking is necessary, you can pay on the day.
The schedule for the weekend is as follows:
FRIDAY:
5PM-9PM – Welcoming at Fort Schanskop and tech inspection. (not compulsory)
Saturday:
9am – Registration (compulsory) and last minute tech inspection for entrants who missed Friday’s tech inspection.
10am – Practice runs
1pm – Time trials (More practice runs if time trials end before 5pm)
SUNDAY:
10am – Practice runs
1pm – Racing
5pm – Prize giving (depending on when racing has finished)
